Utah Jazz's Jefferson, Bell out vs. Blazers; Howard, Favors will start
Published on Jan 31, 2012 08:37AM
Normal starters Al Jefferson and Raja Bell will not play in the Jazz's game against Portland on Monday night at EnergySoultions Arena.
According to coach Tyrone Corbin, Josh Howard will replace Bell, who is sidelined with a strained adductor.
Meanwhile, Derrick Favors will move into the starting lineup for Jefferson, who has been bothered by a sore ankle.
It will be Favors' fifth start of the year. Howard, the veteran signed as a free agent before the start of the season, will make his first start for Utah.
