Jazz's Howard expects to play against Toronto

Jazz forward Josh Howard calls himself "probable" for Wednesday night's game against Toronto at EnergySolutions Arena.

Howard has missed four straight games with a strained quad. He went through a full practice on Monday "... and it well well. Hopefully that's a good sign. No ill effects."

Howard also practiced Tuesday morning and, barring a setback, he will likely play against the Raptors.

With Howard available, coach Tyrone Corbin will have someone else to plug into his rotation of wing players that already includes Gordon Hayward, Raja Bell, C.J. Miles and rookie Alec Burks.

Bell is not worried about the possibility of reduced minutes to make room for Howard.

"If you struggle, the only way to come out of that is to get some minutes," Bell said. "... But Josh has been a big part of what we've done this season. I think when we're firing on all cylinders, we're a much better team. So that's Ty's challenge -- to figure out how to get the pieces on the court that he feels gives us the best chance to win."

Said C.J. Miles: "I'm going to keep playing like I've been playing and keep being aggressive -- try to do whatever I can to help the team win."
