Portland — Jazz coach Tyrone Corbin said Monday after shootaround he'll start Devin Harris, Raja Bell, C.J. Miles, Al Jefferson and Mehmet Okur tonight against the Blazers during Utah's preseason opener.
With Paul Millsap out, Jefferson will slide down to power foward and Okur will play center.
While it's just an exhibition game, Okur's move to the starting lineup is another positive sign Utah believes he can be a significant contributor during the regular season. The veteran center entered training camp saying he's 100 percent, and he's wowed Jazz teammates with his agility, confidence and shooting touch.
"I've never seen him shoot this good," Jefferson said.
