Jazz announce 2011-12 preseason schedule

The Jazz announced their preseason schedule Thursday.

Utah will hold a free scrimmage Dec. 17 at Energy Solutions Arena (7 p.m. MT). The Jazz will then start exhibition play Dec. 19 at Portland (8 p.m. MT) and end a two-game run Dec. 21 against the Blazers at ESA (7 p.m. MT).

he Utah Jazz announced today the team’s two-game 2011 preseason schedule featuring a home-and-home matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers. Utah will face Portland on the road on Monday, December 19 and at home on Wednesday, December 21 at 7 p.m. MT at EnergySolutions Arena. This marks the third consecutive preseason that the Jazz and Trail Blazers will meet and the seventh time in the past 10 years of preseason action.

Prior to the preseason games, Jazz fans will have their first opportunity to get a glimpse of the 2011-12 squad when the team holds its annual intrasquad scrimmage on Saturday, December 17 at 7 p.m. MT at EnergySolutions Arena. The event is free of charge and open to the public, and tickets are not required for admission. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.

2011-12 season ticket packages are currently available for purchase. Tickets may be purchased by calling (801) 355-DUNK or online at utahjazz.com. Preseason tickets may be purchased online at utahjazz.com or at the EnergySolutions Arena box office.
