There are plenty of liberals in Utah who would line up to dump a bucket of ice water on the head of Gayle Ruzicka, leader of the ultra-conservative Eagle Forum.

But it was Sen. Jim Dabakis who got to do the honors.

In an antics-filled YouTube video done in the style of an old Charlie Chaplin flick, the outspoken Democrat and advocate for the legalization of gay marriage poured the chilly concoction on Ruzicka. She is sitting on a lawn chair in the backyard of her Lehi home, looking quite consternated as she reads none other than The Salt Lake Tribune, which featured a story about the gay-marriage case.

In a press release about the video, Dabakis said he was "fulfilling the yearning of a generation of Utah LGBT people" by dumping the ice water on her.

Ruzicka, of course, has her own bucket of frigid water to dump on Dabakis, something conservatives throughout Utah have wanted to do for a long while now, too.

The video ends with the two chatting and high-fiving, saying that Utahns came together for a good cause, the ALS Assocation. For more information on donating to the ALSA, click here.
