The problem with Google Glass, the controversial wearable computing device that you wear on your head, is that it only works for about half of the population in its current state. Those who can't use it are the ones who wear glasses. The current version of Google Glass is worn like glasses but doesn't have prescription lenses.
Now, the first set of prescription frames have been introduced that work with Google Glass, and with them, you go from looking like a geek to looking … less like a geek.
The tech blog, The Verge, has this nice video that shows you how the frames work. They will cost $250 for the frames on top of the $1,500 it currently costs for a pair of Google Glass, still out of most people's price ranges. But Google hopes that they can bring the price of the unit down to the sub-$500 range.
