Infographic shows Lindsey Vonn's 'superhuman' recovery from knee injury

Lindsey Vonn, Derrick Rose and Adrian Peterson are stars in three wildly different sports, but all share the same unfortunate distinction of suffering the bane of any athlete's existence: an ACL tear.

Vonn is considered the best of the best in alpine skiing and was a runaway favorite for the 2014 Sochi Olympics starting less than a month from now, but a major knee injury last February and a partial tear of her ACL graft in November left her Olympic dreams in serious question.

However, an infographic from Red Bull has charted Vonn's almost superhuman recovery and ludicrous workout regimen that's allowed her to ski only 10 months after an injury that's derailed plenty of athletic careers.

Vonn, according to the infographic, spent 224 total hours between February and September icing her knee, 275 hours in physical therapy from February to October and returned to action 50 days faster than Peterson and 101 days faster than Rose.
