YouTube apparently has crashed Monday afternoon, and users who try to get on instead get this error message. Courtesy image
YouTube was down globally

It appears YouTube was down momentarily Tuesday about 3:30 p.m., and people were reporting globally that the video sharing site was producing an error message instead of the usual gaming and cat videos. If you tried to go to www.youtube.com, you got the error message above. It came back up about 10 minutes later but only sporadically. The error message still comes up occasionally.

So far, there has been no word from Google, which owns YouTube, or the YouTube blog acknowledging the crash. Stay tuned.
