UPDATE: As predicted, the Sony Police clamped down on the above embed of the video. But Buzzfeed captured it and is providing it at this link. Check it out before Sony sends them a cease and desist.

It seems there was an alternate ending to "Breaking Bad."

OK, not really. But this very, very funny short — for what it was made for, I'm not sure — leaked on the web recently and shows Bryan Cranston reprising his role as Hal from his earlier comedy, "Malcom in the Middle."

In it, it seems the entire "Breaking Bad" series was just a dream in Hal's mind thanks to a late-night fried-Twinkie binge. Jane Kaczmarek, who played Hal's wife in "Malcolm," reprises her role as Lois. The clip is hilarious and is a wonderful tip of the hat to "Newhart," where Bob Newhart ended his run on that show in similar fashion blending his two comedies together. It also shows you how great of an actor Cranston is, slipping back to his role as Hal with ease after years playing the dark and dangerous Walter White in "Breaking Bad."

The clip — which gets a little racy toward the end, so be warned — is apparently a part of the new "Breaking Bad" full series Blu-ray and DVD set that is coming out Nov. 26 (by the way, it would make a great holiday present for me from a generous reader out there). Sony has since tried to pull the clip from YouTube, but this version still stands so far. The only difference is the picture is reversed, perhaps so that Google's robots won't find it. So check it out before Sony pulls it.
