Two new trailers for Darren Aronofsky's "Noah's" are out and it looks like the film is … a cross between "Troy" and "Mad Max" via a Nine Inch Nails music video.

OK, that's maybe a bit harsh, but if nothing else the film, due out in March, apparently bears little resemblance to the biblical story of Noah's Ark. Instead, it seems to be an action-melodrama heavily coated in CGI with a star-studded cast.

That sounds like a disaster, though in Aronofsky's hands it may well be quite the opposite; though the director is most recently famed for "Black Swan," he has a spotless record of making intelligent, idea-rich films — "The Wrestler," "The Fountain," etc. — that have at least some commercial appeal.
