We've brought you timelapse videos of Utah's National Parks, construction projects, and even a hot balloon fest in New Mexico. But now finally, we've found an awesome one of our capital city itself. The video above shows Salt Lake City from the foothills and was posted Friday by YouTube user errorikdotcom. It's a single shot, but wait for it — an epic looking storm front begins slinking into the valley about 30 seconds in. According to the video's description, it was shot Oct. 30 using a GoPro HD HERO3 camera. On Twitter, errorikdotcom is Erik Goodlad of Boise, Idaho. jdalrymple@sltrib.comTwitter: @jimmycdii
