Hikers and volunteers plant trees on Utah mountain

Hikers — and other volunteers — turned out Saturday to plant trees at Alta.

If you'll recall from a previous post, the organization Tree Utah asked hikers for help planting trees on the steep slopes of the ski resort. Tribune photographer Rick Egan also made the trip and captured the work. Enjoy his photos and captions.
