Outdoor Retailer Gear Preview: Turn your iPhone into an action sport camera
Published on Aug 23, 2012 01:43PM
There are several extreme sport camera companies out there, with GoPro obviously leading the way, but mophie entered the fray by releasing OUTRIDE at the Outdoor Retailer show. OUTRIDE allows iPhone owners to turn their device into a hardcore video camera. Mounts for the hardware allow iPhones to be used on a wide range of terrain. Users can then share their video or pictures with a free application which posts to the OUTRIDE community via the web. OUTRIDE will be available in mid-September and run $129.95 to $149.95 depending on the package.
