Indian paintbrush sits on the trail to Hidden Valley in Ogden.
Utah wildflower report: Better see them while you can

Ogden • Going fast: Utah’s wildflowers
On a hike to Hidden Valley in Ogden on Saturday, I saw some withering Indian Paintbrush. Maybe the surprise should be the flowers have stuck around this long.
After a dry winter and spring, temperatures began hitting the 90s last week. All that bodes poorly for wildflowers.
Better get up a mountain soon if you want to see flowers in northern Utah.
