When I created the original list of more than 100 items for The Utah Bucket List show, there were a couple of them I knew would make the final cut. The Green River below Flaming Gorge Dam was one of those items. The Green holds a special place in my heart and soul, which apparently includes the river all the way to its confluence with the Colorado. During my awesome mountain bike trip on the White Rim Trail in Canyonlands National Park a couple of weeks ago I think my biggest smile came when we turned west and started heading north providing me with my first glimpse of the Green.
