Outdoor Retailer Gear Preview: Buff to release new lines and prints for face and hand protection from the sun

Most fly fishers in the country are now quite familiar with the bandit look being displayed by their fellow anglers thanks to the sun protection offered by Buff. The wave is spreading with anglers of all disciplines sporting the look. The company is going "all in" for Spring 2013 with new lines in standup paddle boarding, surfing, yoga, motorcycling, insect shields and a new Infinity Buff designed for wear around town - think silk scarves and such. Buff is also launching a plethora of unique prints including three new state-themed designs - Utah, Oregon and Florida ($27). The Buff glove line also continues to grow with the Sport Series MXS ($27) which covers from the forearm to the tips of every finger and thumb. As a board member for Reel Recovery, a nonprofit that provides fly fishing retreats for men with cancer, I'm a fan of Buff and the skin protection it provides.
