I've had a busy, and wet, spring. Spent some time working on a story at Lake Powell. That package, with at least one video, hits the web next week and will appear in the May 29 Away section. I was at Flaming Gorge earlier this week gill netting lunker lake trout with the Division of Wildlife Resources for another fishing story that will hit the web and the paper in June. The video here is a teaser of what that day was like. We pulled 15 lake trout - easily weighing over a combined 100 pounds - from gill nets that day and released all but the pups (8-12 pounders), which were kept for biological purposes.
