The poster advertising a Sept. 9 "Sisters Meeting" for all European Mormon girls and women — ages 12 and older — features a pink-pastel background with lavender type.
It invites the region’s female Latter-day Saints to watch the two-hour meeting — which will be streamed live from Offenbach, Germany — at their local Mormon meetinghouses.
Who are the speakers?
The poster lists and pictures only three men — LDS apostles M. Russell Ballard and David A. Bednar, and Donald L. Hallstrom, of the Presidency of the Seventy.
No women are mentioned, but church spokeswoman Jessica Moody said some will be involved.
"The list of speakers for the meeting has not been finalized," Moody said Tuesday, "and will definitely include female speakers."
