Thief twerks for an hour before burglarizing Brooklyn apartment

Finally someone who isn’t Miley Cyrus is getting in trouble for twerking.

The incident happened last week, when a Brooklyn woman came home and found some of her packages had been ripped open and the contents stolen. The woman then checked her building’s surveillance footage and discovered the most surprising thing of all: the female thief spent an hour outside the door twerking.

"Her endurance was rather impressive," the woman told Gothamist. "I’m not exaggerating when I say she did this for an hour. A couple of my neighbors walked into the building and she’d stop momentarily and then start up hardcore as soon as their backs were to her."

The woman later filed a police report and, more importantly, uploaded the video — which has been sped up — to YouTube.
