Free shredding event Saturday

University Federal Credit Union is offering free document shredding Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon at the credit union’s Cottonwood Heights branch, 7220 S. Highland Drive. Shredding personal documents before placing them in the trash can help prevent identity theft.
