Gordmans store celebrations

Department store chain Gordmans is offering community celebrations Saturday, May 5 at its stores at The District shopping center in South Jordan and at Station Park in Farmington. The two locations, the company's first Utah stores, each will have giveaways for two $250 Gordmans gift cards, entertainment, activities for children and food.

In South Jordan, the event will include face painting and balloon creations from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. At 1 p.m., the South Jordan Fire Department and the South Jordan Police Department are scheduled to arrive with their vehicles. Chick-fil-A will provide food samples throughout the day.

In Farmington, face painting will be offered from noon to 2 p.m. and balloon creations will be offered from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Food samples will be provided by the Cafe Zupas restaurant.
