Lawmaker floats sponsorship idea for failing kids

Rep. Carl Wimmer, R-Herriman, is floating an idea to help failing students by allowing individuals to pay for those students to go to different schools and then write-off part of that cost on their taxes. On the post, Wimmer said he's not yet sure whether he'll run the idea as a bill this session.
