There is no official scheduling agreement between BYU and the American Athletic Conference (AAC), but you couldn't be blamed for thinking that way by looking at the Cougars' future football schedules. BYU and the University of South Florida announced on Monday that they have agreed to a two-game football series, beginning in 2021. The Bulls are a member of the AAC, and their football program is in its 18th season overall, 15th season at the FBS level. The Cougars and Bulls will meet at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Fla., on Sept. 25, 2011 and at LaVell Edwards Stadium in Provo on Sept. 23, 2022. "We look forward to this series with South Florida," said BYU director of athletics Tom Holmoe in a school news release.. "It will be great opportunity for our team to play in an NFL facility at Raymond James Stadium and also welcome South Florida to Provo to experience LaVell Edwards Stadium." BYU is also scheduled to play Arizona State (Sept. 18), Boise State (Oct. 9) and USC (Thanksgiving Weekend) in 2021. In 2022, BYU is scheduled to play Boise State (Oct. 8) and at Stanford (Nov. 26).
