Former BYU star Vai Sikahema is one of 25 finalists on the ballot for induction into the Polynesian Football Hall of Fame. The list includes 20 players and five coaches and/or contributors. Sikahema was a running back and kick returner for BYU and played eight years in the NFL for Philadelphia, Arizona and Green Bay from 1986 to 1993. Sikahema played at BYU in 1981-82 and 1984-85 and was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 1986 NFL Draft. Six inductees will be selected for the Class of 2015, which will be announced on Oct. 8. That group will include five former players and one coach/contributor. The inductees will be honored during the Polynesian Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Weekend on Jan. 23-24 in Honolulu, Hawai'i. Last year, former BYU linebacker Kurt Gouveia was inducted in the inaugural class.
