A call to Utah readers who like to golf and eat
As many of you know, I was fortunate last summer to have accomplished a lifelong goal: I managed to play every golf course in Utah — all 122 of them, public and private — and wrote about my 25-year golf odyssey last August.
This summer, I’ve decided to write about which golf courses in our great state have the best food. For instance, which course has the best snack bar? Which course serves the best hot dog? Where can you get the best burger when you make the turn? Which course has the most unique or unusual menu item, something you can’t really get anywhere else?<
The plan is to have my article run in the food section, which is published on Wednesdays.
I’m going to limit my review, of sorts, to public-access golf courses, the courses everybody can play. Besides, it wouldn’t be a fair fight to include country clubs, which have their own on-site restaurants and serve up some of the best meals in the state.
Call my review the non-gourmet division.
I’m letting you know this because I need some help.
If you’ve played and/or eaten at a lot of golf courses in Utah, or perhaps only a couple, I’d be interested to get your input. Let the aforementioned questions serve as a guide, but feel free to include anything else.
I’ll probably use several responses in the article, so include your name and city of residence, if you don’t mind being referenced publicly.

Thanks, and happy golfing/eating,
