An eighth high school or junior college prospect has committed to join the 2015 signing class and play football for BYU.

Riley Burt, an all-around athlete at Box Elder High in Brigham City, Utah, told BYU defensive coordinator Nick Howell and head coach Bronco Mendenhall earlier this week that he plans to sign with BYU in February. Burt, who plays defensive back and running back for the Bees, will be a senior this fall.

He's listed at 6-foot-2 and 195 pounds.

BYU became the first school to offer a scholarship to Burt last month. He was also receiving interest from Utah and Utah State.
