BYU guard Anson Winder scored 16 points off the bench on Saturday night -- all in the first half -- as the Cougars downed Santa Clara 91-81 at the Leavey Center.
Winder was pressed into action when star guard Tyler Haws picked up two fouls in the first 49 seconds of the game. Haws spent the rest of the half on the bench.
Winder talked about his contribution after the game.
