BYU running back Jamaal Williams had 17 carries for 83 yards before leaving the game in the third quarter last Saturday when BYU downed Houston 47-46 at Reliant Stadium.

Williams said Monday after BYU's practice that he took a helmet to the hip in the second quarter, and tried to play after that, but was ineffective and not helping his team.
