Here's BYU football coach Bronco Mendenhall's chat with reporters in the rain after the Cougars' practice on Tuesday, Dec. 18, as they prepared to play San Diego State in the Poinsettia Bowl at Qualcomm Stadium on Thursday, Dec. 20.

Mendenhall said there has been no change in the quarterback situation, meaning that Riley Nelson is still recovering from a rib cartilage injury and James Lark has been getting most of the reps in pre-bowl practices.

The Tribune reported Monday that Lark has been told he will start against the Aztecs.
