BYU football coach Bronco Mendenhall said he was contacted by Colorado regarding its coaching vacancy, but not before former Cincinnati coach Butch Jones had turned down the Buffaloes' offer. Mendenhall said at the end of this interview that he did not interview with Colorado and did not have a lot of interest in the vacancy.

"I'm happy here," Mendenhall said.

The coach also talked about the Cougars' quarterback situation as they prepare to meet San Diego State in the Poinsettia Bowl.
