There has been no announcement yet from BYU (as of 9 a.m. Tuesday morning), but that long-rumored BYU-Washington State football series is apparently going to happen. Washington State athletic director Bill Moos announced Monday that WSU will play at BYU in 2012 and that BYU will return the trip in 2013. Here's the report on that in the Kitsap Sun. The Cougars have played Washington State three times, but never in Pullman, Wash. ———————— One of the two fullback-linebacker types from Anaheim's Servite High who committed to BYU last summer apparently has a wandering eye. Greg Biggins of ESPN.com is reporting that Butch Pauu, a 6-0, 215-pounder who committed to BYU a few months ago, has decided to take a couple official visits to other schools. Pauu's teammate at Servite, Jherremya Leuta-Douyere, has also committed to BYU. Pauu had 20 tackles and an interception last week in a loss to Orange County Lutheran.
