We're settled in here at the Qwest Center Omaha, a beautiful building near dowtown Omaha that seats 17,260. Something close to a sell-out is expected as the homestanding 4-2 Creighton Bluejays play host to the No. 21-ranked Cougars (6-0). BYU's players are stretching on the floor, and the Creighton student section is already getting on Jimmer Fredette, from behind the north basket. They are chanting "Jimmer, Jimmer" and some guy has a sign that says, "Jimmer is a Bro Hater." There are newspapers draped over all the chairs in the student section, so it looks like they are going to pull the ol' "read the paper when the other team is announced" deal. The section is called "McDermott's Militia" in honor of new coach Greg McDermott, who came from Iowa State. As mentioned before, Chris Collinsworth won't play (ankle). But he's here, along with Anson Winder, who is redshirting. Realizing this game is not being televised anywhere except here in the Omaha area (KMTV-Ch. 3), I will be tweeting from my Twitter account periodically throughout the game, if the wireless connection holds up. Go to @drewjay on Twitter for that.
