The Holladay Arts Council will be presenting the Blue Moon Festival on Friday, August 30, from 5 to 10 p.m. at the Holladay Village Center Plaza, 4660 S. 2300 E.

Admittance is free. The festival will be the first anniversary of the Blue Moon Festival held last August. Amenities include a bee & wine garden (sponsored in part by Blue Moon Belgian Ale), dancing on the plaza with "2-1/2 White Guys" playing its blend of reggae and ska, and "The Neil Diamond Xperience" (Neil Diamond tribute show), a children's activity center, arts & craft and food vendors, and produce from our locally grown Community Garden.

In addition, local artists will be giving live painting demonstrations. Come early and receive a free Blue Moon T-shirt while supplies last. The Holladay Arts Council is a volunteer organization seeking grant money to produce free events.
