BYU grad appointed to role as President of KSL Broadcast Group

Darrell Brown hs been appointed President of the KSL Broadcast Group, a division of Bonneville International, Bonneville International Corporation (BIC) announced today.

"I am pleased to welcome Darrell to KSL," said Keith McMullin, President and CEO of Deseret Management Corporation, BIC's parent company, in a press release. "He embodies the mission of our organization and brings strong leadership and broadcast experience."

Brown will oversee day-to-day operations for KSL Television and the Salt Lake radio group, which includes: KSL NewsRadio (102.7 FM & 1160 AM), FM 100.3 (KSFI) and 103.5, The Arrow (KRSP).

Brown has been with the KSL Broadcast Group in a consulting role since February 2013. Brown most recently was President of McGraw-Hill Broadcasting Company. Brown's career with McGraw-Hill spanned 28 years, where he served in various sales and management roles for ABC and Azteca America television stations, including VP and General Manager roles in San Diego and Denver. Brown is a past chairman of the ABC Television Affiliates Association and has served as an executive board member of Minneapolis based Internet Broadcasting Systems.

Brown is a graduate of BYU.
