For over 50 years composer and saxophonist Wayne Shorter — who will headline at Red Butte Garden on Aug. 29 — has wowed us with his jazz explorations.

His body of work as a solo artist, and as part of the famed Miles Davis Quintet and fusion pioneers Weather Report, has redefined jazz.
