On April 13 a fund raiser will be held for the Doug Kotter family of Orem.

The event will be held at the Cascade Golf Course, 1313 E. 800 North, Orem from noon until 4 p.m.

Activities will include live music by Bittersweet Bluegrass and Cody Robbins, children's carnival style games, and fine art auction with prints by Joseph Brickey and Angela Kotter.

Proceeds from the Cascade Golf Center will also go to this great cause.

Kotter, age 36, was recently diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma stage four cancer.

Kotter and his wife, Angela, have lived in Orem for many years and are the parents of four young children: Matthew, Jonathan, Daniel, and Annie.

Friends are organizing this fundraiser to help with the family's mounting medical bills and other expenses and hope the community will come out to support this family.

"We are overwhelmed with the love and support from our neighbors, friends, and family. There is a battle to be fought but we are confident all will be well in the end," said Angela Kotter in a press release.

Donations can be received at any Zions Bank under the name Douglas Kotter Donation Account.
