Macklemore and Ryan Lewis coming to Dixie in southern Utah

They've recently sold out The Depot (in December) and Park City Live (in January). Can they do the same at Dixie?

Macklemore and Ryan Lewis are coming to Dixie State University on March 8 to perform at Hansen Stadium as part of the "2013 mtvU Woodies Tour."

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis currently own the No. 1 song on iTunes and the Billboard Hot 100, "Thrift Shop."

MTV’s 24-hour college network, mtvU, will feature segments from the performance on the mtvU network and online at www.mtvU.com.

The concert is a spring break kick-off for all Utah colleges and universities and a limited number of tickets are still available and can be purchased at the Avenna Center Cox Auditorium Box Office or online at www.dixiestatetickets.com. The price is $20 for general admission, $15 for Dixie State students with current ID.

Doors open at 7 p.m., with pre-show entertainment provided by DJ Marcus Wing and featuring a variety of vendors made available by the Dixie State University Student Association and "The mtvU Woodies Tour."

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis will take the stage at 8:30 p.m.
