A new concert series, Concerts at Sundance, will feature local and international artists performances to benefit the Huntsman Cancer Institute.

Note: This concert series is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Sundance Film Festival.

This planned-to-be-annual music festival will take place during the Sundance Film Festival with a portion of tickets and donations to go towards fighting cancer.

"We have selected local bands and artists from all over the world to help us raise awareness for donating to cancer research," said Stephanie DeGraw, event founder, in a press release.

Over 30 bands and artists will perform during Concerts at Sundance. There are artists traveling from Belgium, Canada, Texas, California and New York to mix with local performers.

Venues include Hotel Park City, Flanagan's, Ciseros and the Park City Mall.

All events during Concerts at Sundance are open to the public. There will be concerts every day during the Sundance Film Festival.

Some of the more high-profile concerts include recording artists Jon Regen (singer/pianist) and Julia Kent (cellist) at Hotel Park City at 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday Jan. 19 and 20.

Then indie artists The Weekenders, Double or Nothing and Sacha Delone and others open for Atlantic Records recording artists Fictionist Jan. 25 from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. at Ciseros Nightclub.Tickets can be purchased at http://www.concertsatsundance.com and http://www.ticketcake.com.Donations are being taken at http://www.concertsatsundance.com.
