Billboard releases Women in Music Power Players list

Billboard announced today that for a third consecutive year, Julie Greenwald, Chairman and COO of Atlantic Records, has topped its Women in Music Power Players list, and for the second straight year, Jody Gerson, Co-President of Sony/ATV Music, and Kathy Willard,Executive Vice President and CFO of Live Nation Entertainment, claimed the second and third spots respectively.

Katy Perry was named the Billboard Woman of the Year, and Carly Rae Jepsen was honored as the Billboard Rising Star.

The ranked Power Players list of the top female music industry executives and the interviews with the artist honorees are revealed in the Billboard Women in Music issue, which hits newsstands today.
