Going Dutch

Dutch D.J. and producer R3hab will spin as the crowd also celebrates local promoter Vaughn Carrick’s birthday. The last time I had Dutch D.J. perform at my birthday was ... never.

Tattoo You

The last Saturday of the month is here, so that means Fetish Ball time at Area 51. This month’s theme is Tattoos, with best tattoo contests for men and women. The theme begs the question: in China, do tattoo artists specialize in the art of English-language characters?

Stubbs’ Club, Bub

Keith Stubbs, host of The Stubbs Show on country station The Eagle 101.5 FM and owner of all of the Wiseguys clubs in Utah, will perform stand-up as he is, first and foremost, a comic. In 1991, Keith Stubbs quit being a stock broker for PaineWebber in New York, a career move that led to The Great Recession for the rest of the nation.

Ever Ever Getting Back Together

The Complex is hosting what is called The Biggest Tour Ever Ever, featuring Kristine Levine of Portlandia, Morgan Preston, and Andrew Ouellette attempting to perform 50 shows in 50 states in 50 days. Previous attempts for that record have included one show in one state in one day.

Swing Swing
