Just because Halloween has ended doesn't mean there isn't good nightlife to enjoy. Here's a few over the coming week:
A Bar Named Sue The club is holding its "Pray for Powder" night, a fundraiser for the Utah Avalanche Center. Raffles start at 8 p.m. for plentiful prizes, and msuic will be provided by Rage Against the Supremes. Another matter is the idea of praying for snow. With so little summer in Utah, we should be praying for that, instead. South Temple, Salt Lake CityThe Westerner Country-rapper Colt Ford, who co-wrote Jason Aldean's "Dirt Road Anthem," headlines with J.J. Lawhorn opening. Lawhorn lives in rural Virginia and cites hunting, fishing, and working on his truck as just a few of his hobbies.
