Piper Down still getting its Morrissey on this weekend
Published on Oct 31, 2012 05:00PM
Morrissey’s Kingsbury Hall slated for this weekend was postponed because he wants to attend to his mother’s illness, but the downtown pub Piper Down is still going through with its celebration of Moz.
The Los Angeles-based Smiths/Morrissey tribute band Maladjusted will perform Friday and Saturday at 10:30 p.m. with the Gamma Rays opening at 9 p.m.
If you are a lady or bring your Morrissey ticket, you get in free. All others pay $5.
At press time, it was unknown if the "Meat is Murder" ethos will be followed by the kitchen for the weekend.
When • Friday, Nov. 2, and Saturday, Nov. 3
Where • Piper Down, 1492 S. State St., Salt Lake City
