Molly Blooms Irish Pub

The night is "Kilt Night," an all-ages party with no admission fee. Local Irish band Swagger will headline at 9 p.m., but before that you can expect to see Irish dancers, the Heathen Highlanders and even the Ekker Hill Middle School string band. That Park City middle school must have a pretty cool principal.

When • Friday, Oct. 12

Where • Molly Blooms Irish Pub, 1680 W. Ute Blvd., Park City

Liquid Joe’s

Local hard-rock band Royal Bliss will perform, with openers Funk Fu, Perish Lane, and When the Fight Started. An anagram for Royal Bliss is Silly Boars, as well as I Roll By A__. I prefer the latter.

When • Friday, Oct. 12

Where • Liquid Joe’s, 1249 E. 3300 South, Salt Lake City

Southern X-Posure

The club will hold its "Cops & Robbers Party," hosted by The Dishonorable Judge Henderson. The honorable one will be otherwise occupied at a place with less scantily clad women.

When • Saturday, Oct. 13

Where • Southern X-Posure Downtown, 1737 N. Beck St., Salt Lake City

Area 51

Area 51 will hold a "Vampire Ball," where patrons can dress up and commiserate about Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson getting back together.

When • Saturday, Oct. 13 at 9 p.m.

Where • Area 51, 451 S. 400 West, Salt Lake City

Park City Live

This Park City hot spot is becoming known more for its line-up of continuing attractions than simply being the occupants of the venue known as Harry O’s, with Groundation, moe., and Ozomatli coming up. This night features Ladies Night, with women free all night long. However, you don’t have to act like a lady to have fun here.

When • Saturday, Oct. 13 at 8 p.m.

Where • Park City Live, 427 Main St., Park City
