David Halliday and Jazz Vespers Quartet to perform free concert at Gallivan Center

The next Excellence in the Community concert is Oct. 19 at the Gallivan Center, featruing David Halliday and the Jazz Vespers Quartet, and the concert coincides with the release of David's new CD, "Dreamsville," a collection of romantic (lower-case "R") jazz classics.
The new CD will be available at the concert, which begins at 7:30 p.m. and is free.
The ensemble includes some of SLC's top jazz musicians: Courtney Smith on piano; Denson Angulo on bass, and Steven Lyman on drums.
