Kristin Chenoweth has just been announced as the performer at The Eccles Center on New Year's Eve, presented by the Park City Performing Arts Foundation.

Best known for her starring role as Glinda the Good Witch in Broadway's "Wicked," the petite Chenoweth has become a prolific star on the stage and screen. "New Year's Eve is the ideal time for a community to come together to experience the magic of live performance – in this case, a wickedly entertaining show from one of Broadway's best," says PCPAF executive director Teri Orr in a press release. "There has to be a wow-factor for New Year's and Ms. Chenoweth has just that. She's an incredible talent and we're lucky to have her in our line-up." The show starts at 8 p.m, and tickets range from $30-$160 (20-percent discount for seniors, 2-for-1 tickets for children ages 12 and under). Tickets and information are available at The Eccles Center box office, 435-655-3114 or http://www.ecclescenter.org.
