Song of the Day: Billy Joe Shaver's 'Live Forever'

I interviewed Billie Joe Shaver this morning, with him on the phone from his home in Waco.
The guy who pretty much invented the outlaw country movement will perform at The State Room on Oct. 20, and is 73 and still going strong.
Shaver got a lot of attention a few years ago for being acquitted of shooting a guy in the face outside a honky-tonk — it was ruled self-defense — as well as being name-checked in Bob Dylan's "I Feel a Chnage Comin' On":
