The next Excellence in the Community concert will feature Moon Light, the award-winning duo of 14-year-old Aubree Oliverson on violin and her father, Dr. Stephen Oliverson on piano.
The show is Monday, September 24, at 7:30 p.m., with free admission at The Gallivan Center (239 S. Main St., SLC).
Moon Light has performed extensively throughout the Intermountain west, including venues such as the Sundance Film Festival, Libby Gardner Hall, Temple Square, Salt Palace, BYU Education Week, and Seattle, San Francisco, Minneapolis, and Washington D.C.
in 2011 Moon Light won the Best of State award for musical composition and performed at the Salt Palace awards gala.
Aubree made her solo debut with the Utah Symphony at age eleven, and has since performed at Carnegie Hall.
