The National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) just recognized Summerhays Music in Murray for Best Use of Social Media at the Top 100 award ceremony dedicated to the best instrument stores in America.

The award was presented to Summerhays Music at the annual music product trade show, Summer NAMM, held in Nashville.

Summerhays Music was also honored as one of America’s Top 100 Dealers in May 2012, the only music store in Utah to receive the honor, as well as nominated in the top three nationally for best Website, and best Ad.

"We work very hard to make Summerhays Music’s social media site a fun place for students and parents to visit, both for news and events about local music as well as for contests and promotions within the store," said Jenny Bauman, Marketing Manger for Summerhays Music, in a press release.

Summerhays Music was recognized in particular for a contest it held for all local schools across Utah, which gave Music Programs a chance to win $300 for their music program. The contest brought in thousands upon thousands of votes for hundreds of schools across the state.
