Song of the Day: 'I Can't Make You Love Me'

"I Can't Make You Love Me" is a song I recently re-discovered when Adele and Bon Iver began covering it.
Bonnie Raitt — who will be performing at Red Butte Garden on Tuesday and Wednesday — first performed the song for her "Luck of the Draw" album, and it was written by MIke Rein and Allen Shamblin. Raitt reportedly sang only one take because she got so emotional, and believed she would never be able to summon that intensity again.
I prefer Adele's version, but here is Bonnie's first: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nW9Cu6GYqxo
