Songs of the Weekend: The Byrds

Seeing David Crosby last night reminded me of how much I love the Byrds, especially when about a decade ago most of their albums were re-released in special editions.

Of course, I love them for Roger McGuinn's Rickenbacker, but listening to "Eight Miles High" makes me think I know what it is like to have taken drugs. (I was in the Coast Guard, and spent nine not-that-exciting years of life trying to keep them out of the country, so consider me a square for not partaking.)
